Does the base plate come with it?

The small clamp comes with the base plate shown in the photography. The large clamp does not. The base is available separately as 265-BASE.

How long does it take?

It is a custom order item, so allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Why stainless?

So it will not contaminate the pipe. On stainless and alloy work, iron transfer from a carbon steel clamp is a rejection.
